Oh Shahrukh Oh!

Well I just saw the most self indulgent, inane, nonsensical, stupidest, the most idiotic film ever made in the history of Indian Cinema. Wow! I can't believe this film is going to be the top grosser of this year. Ouch! it hurts.
The plot starts off with a junior artist wanting to become a superstar(Stinks like- 'Chalaa Muraari Hero Banne'). Then he dies trying to save the heroine (Must say, Deepika Padukone is very beautiful and she can act too). Well, both die. Then the hero comes back- rebirth (Stinks like 'Karz'). Now he is already a star. So the plot point No. 1 is resolved with his rebirth. Great. But not so great. Because he starts remembering. (here begins plot point 2).He remembers the villian who mysteriously reappears on the scene after 25 years. The villian was one of the most successful producers of his time and when he returns he behaves as if a lot had changed in the film industry. There were item songs then, there are item songs now for God's sake. But the villian is totally clueless. Then the story takes a bizarre turn(Plot No. ??) when the hero searches for his heroine and miraculously he finds a girl who looks exactly like the heroine who had died in his previous birth. Gawd!! Give me a break!
Then the film goes the 'Madhumati' way in totality. The climax is exactly like in Madhumati. THE END

By the way, I'm just wondering what Satish Kaushik's film (which is supposed to be a remake of KARZ with Himmesh) will be about. hmm...

Om Shanti.... (Sigh)

Sorry Jainesh, can't agree with you on this. I liked OSO for the same reason I liked Boom. I can't never get it why one should look for logic in films that are obviously parodies with the sole aim to entertain. OSO has no pretentions; it just promises to give the public a rip-roaring good time, and it does. Game over. Period.

I agree totally...maybe the post is a little reactionary and I totally agree that these are just my opinions. Obviously, because the film IS a big HIT. Lots of people have loved it. Probably its just that maybe I expect a lot from Mr Shahrukh Khan. I think he is an actor who can definitely do much better than what he has been doing. But it's okay. Got the point. Game over and out.
